- My research topic is Roman Empire public libraries, one of the Ancient World’s libraries. I love history of the Roman Empire, especially, certain time when Julius Caesar sketched his empire and stimulated both national infrastructures and quality of lives. I believe that all infrastructures of western world were based on the Rome Empire. Julius Caesar was the progenitor of the modern western infrastructures. When I read these lists of research topic, I thought that Roman public libraries may be related to Julies Caesar. So, I typed Roman public libraries on Encyclopedia Online then I found his name. That’s my reason to choose this topic.
I’d like to research as below:
Time and life in Rome Empire when Julius Caesar dreams to set up Public library.
Library culture in ancient Rome and role of public libraries.
Public libraries and significant People who are related to Rome Public Libraries (e.g. Julius Caesar, Tiberius, Trajan.etc…)
First public library in Rome
Other public libraries in Rome Empire (e.g. Bibliotheca Ulpian...etc)
I’ll start to research history directories and articles through internet and online databases and I plan to visit SLV to have a look journals books.
